Farmer Steve has been busy, too. Here are some pictures of our new shelter on the farm in bahay kubo ("nipa hut") style. Eventually we'll enclose the rear half and even add a bathroom, but for right now it is shelter from the sun and rain while working on the farm.
As you can see, neither Stephen nor I actually built anything, but Stephen did "oversee" operations during the two weeks that it took to turn his sketch into an actual coconut masterpiece. As he says, "I wasn't much help in any of the construction, except for gracefully accepting each cost over-run."
Now, here's a happy dog. Who says Grover doesn't smile?
