Yet another festive occasion in Manila. I busted out early of my $8 poker tournament across the street at Player's Den, but that's alright since things were just starting to heat up at the Oar. One guitar, one mike, and a roomful of professional and amateur musicians...and Jack Sparrow showed up, so what else does one need?
Yeah, I need to figure out how to dial down the flash on my digital camera. Let's not call these photos overexposed...let's call them "bright and cheery." Yeah, I didn't honestly think that'd work. I'll get out the freakin' manual--it just feels like cheating to read the directions.
Jim got to be a rock star for the night, so all was good. We left at 3:30 am, so I would like to thank Leo, Jim's driver, for getting us home safely. The party van rocks!
