Just Call Me Bruiser

I have to apologize for the long silence, but there's that work thing that keeps getting in the way. I mean they paid us to move out here, and they want me to actually earn my keep? Not sure about that. Seems a little extreme.

Even at my busiest here, though, I still have a roaring social life compared to the last few years. One part of this difference? A two-day weekend, which has to be the best invention since God rested on the seventh day (or, as the case may be, the sixth and seventh days). He may have only needed one day of rest, but what do you expect from us mere mortals?

A new regular thing for me is joining a touch rugby team (don't worry...this is not the kind of rugby where you lose teeth and kneecaps). Though I have never touched a rugby ball before, let alone know a thing about touch, the team has a real coach and we run drills and everything, so I'm learning fast. It's the first time I've played a sport with real plays and patterns you have to run, so it challenges me in several ways. Boxing will make a comeback for me soon, but currently coaching volleyball (and now playing touch) keeps me pretty busy.

The master plan is getting closer to fulfillment, day by day.
