Up on Cripple Creek, the name we've given our farm that all Band fans will appreciate, we now have a working pump. I may have posed for this picture, but don't think that I've gone all farmer Jen on you. Water means we can plant fruit trees and crops, stay overnight if we want to, and of course have water for the dogs.
Speaking of those fiesty canines, Jaya's new favorite game is "retrieve the coconut. " He's not much smarter than a coconut himself, frankly, but we love him as much as ever, of course. Both the dogs feel that we've finally made good on our promises to them, and this whole Philippines thing is starting to make some sense to them.
