A Wise Man Never Admits His Age

I had a picture like this one taken of me at my wedding, which my mom hated. What makes us take out our repressed anger on baked goods?

It was Ben's birthday at the Oarhouse--and a festive event it was, largely due to the flood of friends who braved Malate on a Sunday in honor of good friend, photographer, and philosophe, Ben Razon.
A special treat was Mon Acasio's guest appearance (second from right in the grey shirt). Most of us haven't seen Mon much as he now stays full time in Imus, Cavite, for his physical therapy after his stroke over a year ago. He was looking great, though, and was easily the second-most-sought-after person at the party, next to the birthday boy, of course.

What did Ben wish for?Pizza and beer. Does it get any better? Happy birthday, Ben. Thanks for a great evening.
