Yet another step towards living the life of a true farm dog: riding in the back of the truck. Of course, we have specially ordered harnesses and seat belts designed for safe truck riding, direct from the good ol' US of A, so these pampered mutts are not as "down with the people" as they'd like to seem. But Grover quickly got the hang of it, putting her paws on the wheel rim like she was surfing the bed of the truck, body held in the place by her chest harness, nose forward, ears flapping away. She's just fearless. I kept my eye on the rear view mirror the whole time.
Would someone please tell Stephen that his overalls are ridiculous? Please? Am I alone out here, people?(Photos by Sawsan Manasfi and Richard Thornley)
